Hey friends!

I'm Sophia, the author of Veggies Don’t Bite, a plant-based and gluten free food blog targeted to all types of eaters.  

I'm a former first grade teacher and education specialist, who now uses my expertise from teaching and passion for wellness to help others feel empowered instead of overwhelmed through my client centered health coaching. With 3 kids running the show, I know what it's like to make a health change in the midst of chaos!

Through my podcast, Real Food Real Conversations, I break barriers in the plant-based world and helps others realize that food does not have to be an all or nothing approach. From helping others create meal systems that are sustainable long term, to supporting them in forming goals in an attainable small step format, I make health and wellness success achievable for all!

I have been featured on many websites including Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Women’s Health and Red Tricycle to name a few, along with guest posts on a variety of other sites and features in print in multiple magazines, including Parent’s Magazine. My first cookbook, Vegan Burger’s and Burritos was released in November 2017.
