Meal Systems Support:

A printable PDF based guide

Does the thought of organizing meals ahead of time make your head spin?

"Thank you so much! This has been the most encouraging thing I have heard ALL year! And I thought it was just me. I thought it was because of my age. I thought it was because I have a spinal condition. But NO, it was because I was still trying to be 'superwoman'! It is because I am in 'burnout' mode! This is so liberating! Listening to Sophia has been the most realistic experience this year." - Katie

Hey friends!

I'm Sophia, the author of Veggies Don’t Bite, a plant-based and mostly gluten and {refined} sugar free food blog targeted to all types of eaters.

I am a former elementary school teacher turned food magician. I live in sunny southern California where I referee my three beautiful boys, one husband and an old sweet cat.

My super power is using whole food ingredients to create plant-based recipes that will change the way your entire family views healthy food. With comfort food classics to veggie filled meals, plus the occasional sweet indulgence, I create a place where all types of eaters unite.

I also provide guidance, systems and support to help real life busy people get healthier without tearing their hair out.

I have been featured on many websites including Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Women’s Health and Red Tricycle to name a few, along with guest posts on a variety of other sites and features in print in multiple magazines, including Parent’s Magazine.

My first cookbook, Vegan Burger’s and Burritos was released in November 2017. And my podcast, Real Food Real Conversations released in May 2020.

Through my space here, I hope to reach anybody interested in making a positive health change in their life.

I use the skills I gained through my Masters in Education and my many years as a Special Education teacher and 1st grade teacher, to break down plant-based eating in a way that works for everyone.

As long as you love to eat good food, you’ve come to the right place!

And don't forget my motto: eat, play, relax, repeat.
